Who We Are ?
Jesse and Jessica Calvert, driven by their shared faith and love for good food, made a significant move from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Maine. Their journey was not only motivated by their passion for serving others, but also by their desire to create a place where they could share their love for southern food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thus, they opened Southern Spoon restaurant, a delightful establishment that combines comforting southern cuisine with a sense of community.
At Southern Spoon, Jesse and Jessica infuse every dish with the flavors and traditions of the South, showcasing their culinary expertise and love for creating delicious food.
